February's Menu

Available Wednesday February 10th and 24th


North Woods Wild Rice Soup – warm up dinner time with this homemade soup, a  touch of tarragon and sage bring all these North Wood flavors together, the wild rice, the tender cuts of turkey even the sweetness from the condensed milk.


Upside Down Chicken Pot Pie – A warm stew of pulled chicken meat, large cut vegetables and our home-style creamy veloutte sauce come together for a comfort meal the entire family is sure to love. Serve over a fresh baked biscuit to complete this delicious meal.


Crockpot Mac N’ Cheese – a new additional to our Crockpot collection, this blend of 4 cheeses comes together in a creamy homemade sauce and when served up hot and bubbly is sure to please every age group in your family.


Sloppy Joe’s - a classic American favorite. Ground beef, fresh peppers and onions simmer in a sweet and tangy tomato sauce. Serve with a side of our oven baked sweet potato and parmesan fries for a quick and simple dinner that whole family is sure to love.


Lemon Lime Chicken – this whole chicken comes out moist and tender, rubbed and stuffed with a blend of seasonings and fresh cut lemons and limes.


Beef Short Rib with an Ale House Sauce - Braised in one of our home-made beers, this simple dish packs a lot of flavor, slow cooked and smothered in its own gravy these short ribs become one-heck-of-a-finger-lickin'-good dish.



March’s Menu

Available Wednesday March 10th and 24th


Asian Style Country Ribs – large cut Country Style ribs are dusted with our blend of herbs and spices and simmered in an Asian inspired sweet and tangy sauce.


Sausage and Peppers – An abundance of peppers and onions with browned mild Italian Sausages cooks up pretty quickly in a delicious tomato sauce for an easy week-night meal.


Corned Beef and Cabbage - A must-have dish for this "Lucky Green Holiday"! Ours stands above the rest with a lean tender cut from the flat end of the brisket and slow simmered in a sweet and savory blend of herbs, spices and a wee bit' of our own magical broth. We provide the cabbage you just need to bring along a side of mustard, a nice rye bread and a pint of Guinness, and if you're lucky you might just see the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.


Swedish Meatballs - mini meatballs simmer all day in a home-style mushroom gravy, then finish with a touch of cream cheese, served over a bed of egg noodles.


Plum Drummies - An Asian inspired plum glaze made with the fresh flavors of ginger, cilantro and orange juice really add to the dark meat flavors of these lightly seasoned “Chicken Drummies”.


Tuscan White Bean Rosemary Soup - This is simply delicious. White beans, onions and rosemary simmered in chicken broth and then get pureed into a chunky peasant-style soup. It smells great and tastes just as wonderful.


 

April’s Menu

Available Wednesday April 7th and 21st


Fresh Kielbasa with Sweet Apple Sauerkraut - Fresh Kielbasa is different than your usual smoked Kielbasa with more traditional flavors that come from the fresh ground pork and fennel seeds, served over a bed of our sweet apple sauerkraut we're sure this is going to be another family favorite. We recommend a side of oven roasted potatoes and some spicy mustard.


Southern Style Chicken and Sausage Gumbo - Cajun at its finest.  Chicken and Sausage simmer all day with a blend of gumbo-style vegetables, stewed tomatoes in a rich broth with a touch of hot sauce.


French Country Baked Chicken – This whole chicken is accompanied by an array of fresh vegetables and slow roasted in our white wine sauce. 


Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry – tender strips of beef, steamed broccoli and a traditional teriyaki sauce stew up quick and easy in your Crockpot; serve over a bed of steamed white rice.


Stuffed Peppers - an old family favorite made with lean ground beef, boiled white rice and a special blend of herbs and spices and steamed in a light tomato sauce. This is really a complete meal all to itself. Kids love these topped with a bit of cheddar cheese right at the end.


Split Pea and Ham Soup – this thick and rich nourishing soup is a favorite for weekend lunches or rainy days.


 

May’s Menu

Available Wednesday March 12th and 26th


Feijoada Completa – this traditional Brazilian dish is a myriad of meats that are slow simmered in a black bean broth with a mild Spanish blend of herbs and spices. (We will be using an assortment of Sweet Link Sausage, Smoked Andouille or Chorizo along with a fresh cut piece of Pork and Beef). This recipe was big hit last year and I am sure will prove the same again.


Vaquero Beef Stew - This delicious beef stew is inspired by rugged Argentine cowboy food. Chunks of beef, sliced green olives , green chiles, tomatoes, carrots and other things cook in your crock-pot and all the flavors come together to create something completely wonderful.


Spaghetti and Meatballs – our meatballs get rave reviews, this simple family style dinner quickly becomes an awesome batch of mouth-watering meatballs. You simply let them simmer all day in our home-style marinara sauce, and then serve them over a bed of pasta (provided) for a dinner the whole family is sure to love.


Lemon Garlic Slow Roasted Chicken - This takes time to cook, but you won't be disappointed. A whole chicken is seasoned with bright fresh lemon, garlic and fresh thyme. A few slices of bacon laid across it helps to keep it succulent!


Turkey Chipotle Chili - Ground turkey and chipotle chilies mix with red kidney beans, tomatoes, onions and beer to cook long and slow in your crock-pot for a very flavorful dish.


Pasta Fagioli - A hearty meal in itself – this classic is easy, healthful and soon to become a family favorite.  Loaded with sirloin, sausage, beans and cheese wrapped into a savory tomato-based sauce, coupled with your breadsticks and fresh veggies – this will fill you up.
